Weathered Limestone Mantel for a Dining Room

Rugged and grey, assembled from heavy limestone sections with a thick multi part shelf, a deep plain frieze, and generous scrolled corbels turning out to the hearth. The surface is mottled and mineral stained across every face, which is exactly what two hundred years of soot and scrubbing produces.
